A nice solid block providing essential weight to the Austin skyline. The building starts as a standard glass rectangle, but then uses varying colors of glass and cut-out notches to give it a little visual interest. Each floor features rows of windows in shades darker and lighter than the main windows. The corners have been shaved off, as has portions of the roof line, creating a crown out of the remaining angles. In all, a good performance, and a nice way to liven up what could have been an otherwise drab hunk of glass.

  • At the time of its completion, this was the tallest building in Austin.
