A quirky little building with an unusually prominent position on the Chicago River. It is sometimes called the "Pound Building" because its form in some ways resembles the tic-tac-toe shape of a pound (#) symbol. The construction rises on two central columns from which hang each floor of the building, giving corners without columns and an bristly appearance.

  • This building has 202,000 square feet of rentable space.
  • 1987 - The building is renovated at a cost of $10,000,000 by The Austin Company and Pyramid III.
  • 2004 - The Chicago bureau of Fox News Channel moves into this building.
