A quirky little building with an unusually prominent position on the Chicago River. It is sometimes called the "Pound Building" because its form in some ways resembles the tic-tac-toe shape of a pound (#) symbol. The construction rises on two central columns from which hang each floor of the building, giving corners without columns and an bristly appearance.
This building has 202,000 square feet of rentable space.
1987 - The building is renovated at a cost of $10,000,000 by The Austin Company and Pyramid III.
2004 - The Chicago bureau of Fox News Channel moves into this building.
