T his is the city's main modern art museum. What sets it apart from other similar buildings is the tympanum at the top of the columns -- a copy of the relief at the top of the western pediment of the Temple of Zeus showing a fight between Centaurs and Lapiths. Across the Hôsök Tere is a similar building that houses the Szépmuvészeti Múzeum (Museum of Fine Arts), which houses a world-class collection of fine art, including what is considered the best collection of Spanish art outside of Spain.
