Our City has a volleyball team, until recently we had never had a boy interested in the sport, but lo and behold a little boy of 6 years old wanted to play and we registered him in volleyball. Our Sports Director Robert Lugo accepted our roster with this young boy in it. The Child played (4) games, and was asked that because of his sex he could no longer enjoy volleyball...I would like to know if Boys and Girls club is open to BOTH or only to one group of children. Girls are allowed to play boys sports, why can't boys play girls sport? Please help us out we are in the 20th century and I would hate to have all these Sexest Groups get ahold of this issue.

I am messaging from San Benito Tx. The Boys and Girls Club from my city is in danger from being closed down in around estimated 90 days time. The issue with it was placed in front of the city council to try to help keep it open. The city said they could not help. There are many kids that attend and have enjoyed the times they have had there. It is a great place for recreational activities for these kids and helps keep them off the sreets. Is there any advice you can provide for ideas to help my commnity with this issue, any ideas or directions for help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
