A n homage to Saint Louis' cherished French heritage, and a nod to its future, Metropolitan Square is an American skyscraper in the Gallic tradition. It's oversized gables and roof in the same green patina as weathered copper help it nestle comfortably into the skyscraper neighborhood. Although it is a dark brown building, its sliced-off corners and vertical channels of glass help lighten its impact on the city.

  • Vanity address: One Metropolitan Square, Saint Louis, Missouri 63102
  • At the time of its completion, this was the tallest building in Saint Louis.

I like this building, it matches the skyline in every way. I saw it in 2006, it's amazing with it's design.
