Also known as: Chapultepec Tower Built: 1998-2003 Designed by: Zeidler Roberts Partnership Type: Skyscraper Stories: 55 Maximum Height: 738 feet / 225 meters Location: Paseo de la Reforma 505, Mexico City, Mexico
A great curve of glass marks this tower; a giant among its neighbors in this sector of Mexico City. From the front, the building is symmetrical, and reflects the sky all around. At its top is a curved indentation, echoed at the bottom in exposed structural supports for a harmonious presentation. But there's more to this than just glass. The back side supports the curve of glass with a traditional box-and-grid granite skyscraper that ties in with the neighboring architecture, and accents the glass side well.
At the time of its completion this was the tallest building in Latin America.

Rating: Five stars. Precious! Should of been built in downtown Guadalajara though. The ability that it has to support a strong quake makes this glass beauty structure even more impressive.

Rating: Five stars. This is clearly the best looking skyscraper in all of Mexico. I love the curved glass facade while at the same time admire how back side (facing a mostly residential area)seems to fit into neighborhood.
