  • 1911: Construction began on this house.
  • 1914: Construction was completed
  • 1923: The home's owner, Sir Henry Mill Pellatt was forced to leave his home when the City of Toronto increased his taxes 1,000%.
  • 1925: This building was reopened as a hotel.
  • 1929: The hotel closed.
  • 1933: The City of Toronto seized the house for back taxes. Sir Henry sold the home for $27,303.
  • 1937: The City of Toronto turns over operation of the building to the Kiwanis Club as a tourist attraction.
