A final note: Kennedy's ungiven speech for the luncheon in Dallas on Nov 22, 1963 was written that morning on the Rice Hotel stationary and is currently in a display at the Kennedy Library in Boston.

Formerly the home of Houston's flagship radio station KTRH which got its call sign letters from it's address. The penthouse was for a while the address of the esentric Howard Hughes and was the place that President Kennedy spent the night before his assasination in Nov. 1963.
