U nfortunately, the Kentucky state capitol doesn't photograph very well. It's quite a bit more attractive than it comes out on film. For example, the building is pink, not white. The building is also spotless. It is fairly new compared with other capitols, and the exterior is perfectly pointed and textured. The rotunda was based on the rotunda from Napoleon's tomb in France.
