Rating: Five stars. fine building with a care for detail in an Arts & Craft way as befitting its purpose as artists' studio. But I'm biased; Lambert Tree was my great-great-grandfather ( his English resident son Arthur, after a nasty divorce from his wife Ethel Field had six children with his Irish governess, one of whom was my grandmother). I travelled to Chicago in the 80's but wasn't aware of these studios nor the family link so will make a pilgrimage one day or another.
