I t's only appropriate that a casino should reflect wealth. And the gold facade of this gaming palace does that well. It forms a three-segmented arc against the northern Louisiana skyline and with its location right on the eastern bank of the Red River, its view of the area's traditionally crimson sunsets can't be blocked, and turn the entire hotel the shade of newly minted bullion.

  • March, 2002: A man is killed while cleaning the underside of the riverboat casino portion of the entertainment complex. Somehow his diving helmet came loose and he drowned.
