A squat little thing sitting on a lonely jetty on Lake Michigan. This is the third lighthouse to illuminate this quiet corner of the world. The previous ones were made of wood, brick, or iron. One was destroyed by a storm. The other replaced by the lighthouse you see today. They all marked the entracne to the Manitowoc River.
