Saw this blurb on a small and obscure blog:

Anyone know anything about this? 1,200 meters is 3,937 feet.. or 3/4 of a mile. Seems too good to be true.

Holy crap!! That may be enough to entice me to visit Dubai! Do you have any other info on the project?
