Floors: 33
Maximum height: 407 feet
Observation deck: Yes
Location: 2 Canal Street

Not a great looking building, but still a good addition to the New Orleans skyline. Its appearance suffers from the age in which it was constructed when vertical columns of concrete were considered state-of-the-art. From above, the building is arranged as a giant plus (+) sign. It is topped by a revolving restaurant called Top of the Mart because World Trade Center was formerly known as International Trade Mart.

  • August, 2001 - The Top of the Mart is sold and closed. Chairs are scooped up by former partons for $25 a piece. It was scheduled to reopen as "Skybar" in 2002.
