The Plum Street Temple is the main location of the Isaac M. Wise Temple, the largest Jewish congregation in the region. They maintain a retreat facility is in the Amberly village neighborhood, but this historic "Saracenic revival" building remains the beloved heart of this religious comnunity. The congregation spent nearly $2,000,000.00 in 1995 restoring this often-overlooked structure.
