Mount Airy Water Towers
Type: Odd architecture
Type: Public works project

An example of what cities can do right when it comes to municipal buildings. What appears to be a castle in the middle of Mount Airy is actually the city's water towers hidden inside brick and concrete. The design allows large amounts of water to be stored while still remaining pleasing to the eye and not cluttering up the air with the usual globe atop a stick formation.
