This
building is one half of the "City Center" complex.
The two buildings are similar, but different even
at first glance. They appear to have at one time been
glass blocks that were whacked at by some architectural
axe, creating deep cuts and sharp protrusions. Architecturally,
they were designed as vertical pinwheels in order
to create lots of corners for lots of high-priced
corner offices.

May, 2003 - The Chase Texas Tower in Fort Worth
was evacuated because of an electrical fire between
the 12th and 13th floors. KXAS Television (channels
5 and 41) reports that it was caused by an electrical
short. Once the smoke was blown out of the 33-story
skyscraper, people were allowed back in.
